Is my Insurance still valid?

Bookings made on/before 31 December 2019

If you have changed your flight, your Insurance cover is only valid if your new departure date is within 18 months/547 days of your original booking date. The Insurers would charge a supplement of 25% of the original Policy price if you made your booking in 2019 and your departure date is now in 2021. 

If you have changed your duration or region then the insurers will require you to pay an additional supplement.

 

Bookings made on/after 01 January 2020

If you have changed your flight, your Insurance cover is only valid if your new departure date is in 2020 or 2021.*

If you have changed your duration or region then the insurers will require you to pay an additional supplement.

 

 

Q. How do I let you know?

A. Please email us at support@directline-flights.co.uk and let us know your new dates of travel and where you are flying from and to. We will let you know If there is a supplement to pay.

 

 Q. Can I cancel my Insurance?

A.Yes, providing you do not intend to travel on your original date of departure. Please send us an email before your trip is due to commence, to support@directline-flights.co.uk and confirm that you have not/do not intend to make a claim. The Insurers will issue a refund, less any applicable charges.

 

Q. What cancellation fees do the Insurers charge?

A. If you made your booking on/before 31 December 2019 the Insurer will refund 50% of the Policy price, less their administration charge of £15.00 providing that you have not/do not intend to make a claim.

If you made your booking on/after 01 January 2020 the insurer will refund 50% of the Policy price providing that you have not/do not intend to make a claim.

 

Q. I haven’t made up my mind about my new dates of travel yet, what do I need to do?

 A. Please email us at support@directline-flights.co.uk and let us know your new dates of travel and where you are flying from and to. We will let you know If there is a supplement to pay and, once paid, will email you a revised confirmation invoice/receipt.
